Can I claim my cell phone as a business expense?
How much of my phone bills (cell or landline) can I write off?
Unless you have two phones, one personal and one business, we generally advise claiming about 50% of your cell phone bill.

If your business requires you to have a more expensive cell phone plan (say you work in remote areas and use more data roaming, or you travel and often call long distance), you can potentially claim 50% of the baseline plan and 100% of the additional plan. The same goes for internet plans.
If your business requires you to have a landline or fax line, and you otherwise wouldn’t, then you can write off 100%.
